After turning himself in back in February to Miramar, Florida officials for the murders of his two associates and friends 21-year-old Anthony Williams & 19-year-old Christopher Thomas Jr, YNW Melly could be facing the death penalty.
According to court documents that were obtained by XXL, the state of Florida will be seeking the death penalty In court documents obtained by XXL the state of Florida is looking to seek the death penalty in YNW's case because they believe that they can prove that he murdered his two associates for "Financial Gain". The court documents obtained by the Hip-Hop outlet also state that, “the murder was especially heinous, atrocious or cruel, and he committed homicide in a cold, calculated and premeditated manner."
Cops also believe that the rapper killed his two friends and then staged the crime to look like a drive-by shooting.
