NYPD Officer Under Heat After Telling Officers To Shoot 50 Cent on Sight

A Brooklyn-based commanding officer is currently being investigation after he allegedly threatened to end 50 Cent's life.

Emanuel Gonzalez, a deputy inspector and commander from the 72nd Precinct in Brooklyn is reportedly under heat after commanding other officers to “shoot him on sight” during a roll call on June 7th, 2018, Rolling Stone reports. The alleged hit was meant for Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, who was attending an NYPD charity event in the Bronx at the time.

According to a source working the case,“The inspector just said that at roll call --I’m like WTF.”

50 Cent has since responded to the threats via Instagram where he posted a picture of Gonzalez captioned, "This is Emanuel Gonzalez commanding officer of the 72 [precinct]. He think he got beef with me, so he sending the Homies to put some work in. NYNOTSAFE #thegangstagotabadge.”

Additionally, he took to Instagram in a second post stating he would be seeking legal action.

“consulting with my legal counsel regarding my options moving forward. I am concerned that I was not previously advised of this threat by the NYPD.”

A spokesman for the NYPD has claimed,“The incident is under internal review,” and that "Gonzalez, who’s approaching his 30th year on the force, will remain on active duty."

We're not sure who will take fault in this complex case as of yet.
