A number of rappers, producers and record labels are among the defendants in a $100 million lawsuit.  

According to, Paul Batiste of the jazz group The Batiste Brothers Band has filed a lawsuit against rappers such as Rick Ross, Pitbull and Ace Hood for copyright infringement. Rappers and producers T-Pain and DJ Khaled are also named in the lawsuit, as well as Cash Money Records. 

Batiste claims the numerous defendants "blatantly poached beats, lyrics, melodies and chords" from Batiste Brothers songs.  Among the songs Batiste names are T-Pain's "Booty Wurk" and "Blame It," as well as DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win."  

Batiste is seeking damages totaling more than $100 million, as well as a permanent injunction preventing the use of any more copyrighted material by the defendants.
