Listen to Kanye West on iHeartRadio

Kanye West's sixth solo album Yeezus is number one after its first week on store shelves. reports that the album sold 327,000 copies, giving it the most sales in a week for a rap album since Drake's 2011 album "Take Care."

The top spot also gave West his sixth number one album.  Kanye is now tied with Nas and Eminem for second place when it comes to number one albums among rappers.  Only Jay-Z has more with 12.

While Yeezus did outsell this week's competition, its album sales are far lower than the half-million records it was expected to sell prior to its release.  It also marks Kanye's lowest opening week.

Kanye's sixth album features guest appearances by Kid Cudi, Daft Punk, Chief Keef, Frank Ocean and Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon.
