J. Cole is switching up the release date for his upcoming album Born Sinner. Cole took to Twitter to this week to announce that his sophomore album will hit stores on June 18th, one week earlier than expected.
The long-awaited follow up to his debut Cole World: The Sideline Story has been delayed several times and was originally set to arrive on January 28th. J. Cole wrote that he was inspired to move up the date after it was revealed that Kanye West would release his album "Yeezus" on June 18th. Cole adds that Kanye is "one of the greatest artists of our generation."

Fans already have a taste of what Born Sinner holds. In February, Cole put out the album's first single "Power Trip" featuring Miguel. The track peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.
