Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav is in trouble with the law over his Fourth of July fireworks display.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Las Vegas police handed Flav a pair of citations after he reportedly set off a host of illegal fireworks Friday night.

Flavor Flav - born William Drayton Jr. - was able to fire off most of his fireworks before police arrived at his house, but authorities still managed to confiscate more than 100 pounds of fireworks.

Flav says his neighbors will be able to rest easy next July 4th because he's planning to hold his yearly fireworks show at a different location.

This isn't the first time Flavor Flav's Fourth of July fireworks display has earned the attention of authorities.  Last year, police got wind of his plans and threatened him with jail time if he set them off.
