Rock and Rock Hall of Famer, Bobby Womack passed at the age of 70, as confirmed by his publicist.

"I am sadly able to confirm [Bobby Womack's death] but I have no details at this time," Sonya Kolowrat, his publicist with XL Recordings, confirmed to CNN.

Bobby Womack began singing and writing music at the age of 10 and is the man behind The Rolling Stones first U.S. hit-single "It's All Over Now."

Guitarist of The Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood, mourned his death on Twitter:
