Police in New Jersey are searching for a man they believe was responsible for a pair of school lockdowns yesterday.

In Union City, the George Washington Elementary School was placed on lockdown after a staffer reported seeing a suspicious person in the building.  Police arrived at the school and did a room by room search, but didn't find anyone.

Hours later, there was a lockdown at the Daniel Webster Elementary School in Weehawken.  Classes were already dismissed for the day, but a few dozens students were still around for after school programs.

Police obtained surveillance footage of the man and believe he's responsible for the incidents at both schools.

It's unclear how he got into the schools.
