According to a new report released on Thursday, about half of New York City area's roads are in poor condition. According to AM New York, TRIP released their Bumpy Roads Ahead report showing that 51% of the area's roads are in poor condition, costing commuters $673 a year in vehicle maintenance, additional fuel cost, and more.

The report had the New York City area with the sixth worst road and highway conditions among urban areas with over 500,000 people. Los Angeles had the worst road conditions followed by Tulsa and San Francisco.
