Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly have allegedly cleared the air after Kelly agreed with a statement that de Blasio and other politicians were "full of sh*t" during an interview with Playboy magazine.
The New York Daily News reports that de Blasio wouldn't go into detail about what he and Kelly talked about, but did reveal that they had a "good conversation." “We cleared the air and we are moving forward," de Blasio told reporters at the National Action Network headquarters.
In an interview with Playboy magazine recently, when asked by reporter Glenn Plaskin if the Democratic mayoral candidates are "full of sh*t" Kelly said "absolutely." De Blasio is expected to name a new police commissioner soon, replacing Kelly who has served in the role since 2002. De Blasio was a very vocal critic of Kelly and the NYPD's controversial stop-and-frisk policy during his mayoral campaign.
