Police have made an arrest in the death of a Brooklyn woman, whose body was found dismembered and scattered around Long Island.

Leah Cuevas, 42, is charged with second-degree murder and is scheduled to be arraigned today in Central Islip.

Chinelle Browne went missing on July 5.  On July 8, a woman’s dismembered body was found in a Bay Shore parking lot.  In the following days, police also said two human arms were found in Hempstead.

Police said Cuevas lived in the same building as Browne.  They have not outlined a motive in the case.
